Mentors matter – a chance to work with real life Dragons!

The great thing about the Junior Dragons Den program, is that once candidates are short-listed for the competition, they are matched with a mentor and real life Dragon from the local Columbia Basin business community.

These community and business leaders are carefully screened and volunteer their time and expertise to work with our Junior Dragons as they refine their business model, write their business plan and produce a video; in preparation for one of three qualifying competitions’ throughout the Columbia Basin and ultimately the Junior Dragons Den Championship.

The Mentor selection process.
Mentors are carefully selected and screened based upon a number of factors ranging from business expertise, references and volunteerism within the local community. They are passionate leaders and “real life Dragons” who have a sincere wish in assisting our youth business leaders and Junior Dragons to be all they can be.
